_Artist, Art Historian, Writer. I exhibit my work, teach University classes, write the award-winning ArtSmartTalk blog, and love to travel. France has always been my first choice, but I feel at home  anywhere where there is that magic combination of art and history. I lived in Paris part-time for ten years and am fluent in French, so have an insider's knowledge of that amazing city. I've traveled widely in France, renting gites, exchanging houses, settling into the life and culture in various ways. I've led tours to New York and Los Angeles as well as Paris, and enjoy creating itineraries and arrangements for fun, interesting, memorable trips!

  • Art Historian: Classes in Art History (Innovative themed approach) at Pennoni Honors College, Drexel University, Community salon classes in Berkeley CA, 15 years teaching AP Art History at academic private schools in CA, Reader for the national AP Art History Exam. I also teach classes in the history and meaning of Children's Literature at Drexel.
  • Writer: ArtSmartTalk blog at http://artsmarttalk.blogspot.com, regular contributor to the Broad Street Review, articles in regional and national publications. ten children's books for major publishers. I've written, but not yet published, an historical novel set in 18th century Paris.
