In addition to the 'fine arts' in its many museums, Paris displays a record of creation that is hard to beat. The artisans that served the great and noble in pre-revolutionary times produced breathtaking decorative arts in rich materials of all kinds, and their legacy still can be found in the treasure of small shops that fill Paris streets - including patisseries and boulangeries!
